Bridging the gap

JOCO Weatherization Program is designed to assist households in making energy efficiency upgrades to their homes through the installation of attic insulation at no cost to qualified households.

Low Income Households are typically serviced by community action agencies. They serve a large population in the community and the wait list for weatherization services can often be years out. This is where this program can offer assistance in the interim. We bridge that gap while you wait. You can sign up even if you are on a wait list. Additionally, you do not have to be on a wait list to qualify.

Moderate income households now have an opportunity to also receive services under this program.  Eligible residents can apply to have their homes attics insulated at no cost. If your income is outside the parameters, you can still apply and we will make a case by case decision based on our funding and resources.
